Hemophilia in Jihlava Again This Year
ČSH

We would like to inform members of the Czech Hemophilia Society and Hemojunior that the next intergenerational meeting of people with hemophilia and their loved ones will take place in November, again in Jihlava. For several years, both associations have been organising generational meetings aimed at helping not only members, but everyone dealing with hemophilia and von Willebrand disease, to navigate all related issues. And also their partners, parents, friends -- in short, anyone who is interested. Everything is being prepared for 15-17 November at the EA Business Hotel. The main programme is traditionally scheduled for Saturday, but already on Friday evening we will be able to learn a number of new developments in the fields of orthopaedics and haematology. Conference rooms, salons for group and individual meetings, demonstrations of individual rehabilitation, proper factor administration and vein care, and many other interesting activities will be available. Professional childcare will be provided for small children if needed.
Information will be presented by leading experts in the fields of genetics, psychology, physiotherapy, orthopaedics; we should also address the topic of "communication in the doctor-patient relationship" and others. A significant benefit is the opportunity to meet with specialists outside the official clinic environment in a friendly conversation.
All registered participants will receive a form well in advance allowing them to choose a specific workshop or individual consultation. The programme will likewise be published after confirmation of participation by all presenters.
Take advantage of this opportunity -- so far all these meetings have been met with great success and most importantly -- they have brought results. You can register now using this form, no later than 15 October 2019. Due to the limited hotel capacity, it is possible that some of us will be accommodated at another nearby hotel. In practice, however, this will only be for sleeping; the entire programme will take place at a single venue. Do not hesitate to register -- it may happen that once capacity is reached, we will be forced to stop accepting registrations!
Participation fees have been set as follows: Czech Hemophilia Society and Hemojunior members will pay CZK 500/night, non-members CZK 1,000/night, children of members under 18 attend free of charge, children of non-members CZK 500/night. Czech Hemophilia Society and Hemojunior members who will not be staying overnight at the hotel and will only attend the Saturday professional programme will pay CZK 200, non-members CZK 400, children of members under 18 attend free of charge, children of non-members will be charged CZK 200. Please note that for the purposes of this event, only members who regularly pay their membership fees on time are considered members. The participation fee also includes all-day refreshments. Please send it to the Czech Hemophilia Society account no later than 15 October 2019. If payment is not received by the stated date, the reservation will be cancelled.
