Minutes of CSH Council Meeting, 20 February 2012

The Council again worked via teleconference. All members participated in the Skype conference of the CSH Council, namely Chairman Vladimír Dolejš, Vice-Chairman Martin Bohůn, Václav Tóth, Petr Grim, Michal Skořepa, and Jana Dvořáčková.

The following items were discussed:

  1. The exchange of views with SÚKL (State Institute for Drug Control) regarding the availability of home treatment has been published on the website www.hemofilici.cz.

  2. The financial report for 2011 was prepared by V. Tóth and has been published on the website.

  3. The creation of a logo for the Prague EHC Congress 2012 will be commissioned to a professional graphic design agency in Ostrava, with which the association has had the best experience in the past.

  4. Intensive negotiations are under way regarding the April World Haemophilia Day celebrations with Novo Nordisk, which has taken on the financing. Due to a conflict between the options proposed so far and the financial limit, no definitive decision has been made yet, but clarity will come in the next few days so that association members can be informed in time.

  5. The South Bohemian workshop "Together About Haemophilia" will take place in April 2012 in Vráž near Písek. The CSH will approach P. Salaj and V. Vonke as professional medical guarantors. An orthopaedist, physiotherapists and a social worker will also attend.

  6. On 21 April, a meeting of parents and child patients of the department will take place under the auspices of the Paediatric Haematology Department of the Brno University Hospital, specifically of local doctor S. Köhlerová. The CSH is also a co-organiser.

  7. Web hosting for the new www.hemofilici.cz website has been paid for and changes to the design and content of the new website are being finalised. M. Bohůn will send the website design proposal to Council members for approval.

  8. The Council has applied for financial support and grants from Siemens and Weil for the summer haemophilia camp with the possible participation of Romanian children.

  9. Accommodation and board prices for the stay in Lednice remain the same as in 2011. It will take place from 18 to 26 May 2012; approximately 50% of the capacity is already filled by interested participants.

  10. The first Haemophilia Newsletter of the year should be published before the summer holidays. However, publication depends on financial support for publishing activities from the Ministry of Health.

  11. V. Tóth will monitor information on the allocation of state institution grants for 2012 and promptly inform the CSH Council.
