About Czech Society of Hemophilia
Why are we here?
FOR THE BEST POSSIBLE CONDITIONS
One of the most important roles of the union is to defend the interests of members before government authorities, health care providers, health insurance companies and wherever quality of life can be affected.
This applies not only to Hemophilia itself, but also to von Willebrand's disease.
CSH cooperates with the association Hemojunior for preschool children and their parents. We act together on crucial issues.
INFORMATION FOR ALL
Knowing the latest trends can make all the difference. That is why CSH informs its members and the medical community about new developments in treatment and possibilities for prevention and therapy. It has the best resources - it is a member of World Federation of Haemophilia WFH and European Haemophilia Consortium EHC.
SPECIFIC ASSISTANCE
Are you having problems with your haemophilia centre, employer, school, health insurance company or other institution? The association can help here too.
Contact CSH has helped many others. They know where to turn and where to seek advocacy. Not everything can be solved, but many can.
FIND YOUR FITNESS
Good physical fitness is the foundation of resistance to joint bleeding, the most common consequence of hemophilia.
CSH organises subsidised convalescent stays for adults and summer camps for children for its members. Here, everyone not only meets friends, but learns the most appropriate exercises and habits under expert supervision. And those who don't know how to do it yet will learn to inject the necessary therapeutic concentrate directly into the vein.
THE WAY TO EVERYONE
Individual contact with specialists is always best. That is why CSH organises regional meetings, where interested people meet in a very close circle with haematologists, orthopaedists, physiotherapists, experts in social issues, pain management and so on.
The impersonal environment of the clinic is replaced by the intimate setting of a café or spa.
