On the occasion of World Haemophilia Day, we have prepared a surprise for you in the form of another edition of the Medikomiks (medical comic), this time on the topic: Haemophilia Then and Now**

Petr arrives with his mother at an intergenerational meeting of haemophilia patients. He really does not feel like spending a day at lectures about haemophilia. He would rather go on a cycling trip. The haemophilia he has had since birth does not limit him at all and he is not really interested in it. He even skips his treatment sometimes, even though he knows he should not. He is just a normal healthy boy, after all. But by chance he starts talking to Zdenek. Zdenek is also a haemophilia patient. He is of retirement age and has severely affected joints. Petr learns that this was caused precisely by haemophilia at a time when no medications existed for it yet. Zdenek also spent a large part of his childhood in hospital. He could not even attend a regular school. Only through Zdenek's story does Petr discover what his disease can cause and how much his treatment helps him.
