For the Eighth Time, and Different Again

We are talking about the celebrations of World Haemophilia Day, which falls on 17 April every year and is commemorated by the haemophilia community worldwide. From the early medieval experience at the Zeměráj adventure park, our steps will lead us further north, and the next stop will be the Baroque Loučeň Castle in the Nymburk district. One of the few available dates was Saturday, 23 April, and so on that day the castle will belong not only to the members of the Czech Hemophilia Society and Hemojunior, but also to their loved ones.

Registration with light refreshments will begin at 9:30 AM and end at 10:30 AM, followed by a tour of the castle grounds, a joint lunch, and a historical programme. Knights and perhaps other fairy-tale characters will be there too. Parking is available in front of the castle opposite the gate; for those with limited mobility, parking within the castle grounds can be arranged.

You can express your interest via the registration form, available no later than Tuesday, 5 April. After that, we need to report the final numbers of all registered participants to Loučeň. However, please express your interest as soon as possible and do not leave everything to the last minute. In case of high demand, places may be limited.

If anyone would like accommodation, a wide range of options is available either directly in Loučeň or in its immediate vicinity, for example via www.booking.com. If you are interested in castle accommodation, you can arrange it directly at the reception desk, tel. 325 585 381.Accommodation is arranged individually by each participant.

Come and join us to commemorate World Haemophilia Day and, above all, to meet again in a friendly atmosphere after a year. We look forward to seeing you in Loučeň!
