Jubilee Celebration
ČSH

Science shows, brain teasers, experiment demonstrations, classic and interactive exhibitions, unexpected experiments, unconventional workshops, and on top of that a super-modern planetarium at the Techmania Science Centre in Plzeň. This is how the website of the city of Plzeň describes the venue we have chosen for this year's World Haemophilia Day celebration, which falls on 17 April every year. We will celebrate it together for the tenth time, this year slightly in advance, on Saturday, 14 April 2018. Since the exhibitions are fully covered, we do not need to worry about bad weather.
Within the exhibitions, all age groups will find something to enjoy. In the 3D planetarium, you can experience the sensation of g-force during a rocket launch, trigger a volcanic eruption, or launch a rocket. There are also screenings available to all visitors. For some of these, we offer the possibility of reserving a seat.
You can express your interest in participating in the celebration for all haemophilia patients and their loved ones via the registration form by 1 April 2018 at the latest! After that, we will need to report the final numbers of participants and screening reservations, which are part of the form.
The event schedule will be specified in advance for all registered participants, but here are a few logistical details. The event will begin between 9:30 and 10:30 AM with registration and light refreshments. This will be followed by an organised programme and a joint lunch. From registration until the end of opening hours (7:00 PM), participants are free to visit the exhibitions, science shows, 3D planetarium, and screenings. The building is fully accessible, and parking is in the immediate vicinity. It is paid, but all celebration participants will receive a free exit ticket.
Please accept our invitation to a joint meeting, a celebration of World Haemophilia Day, and plenty of fascinating experiences at Techmania in Plzeň. We look forward to seeing you.
