Podcast with Vojtěch Horník
ČSH

Hemophilia is an integral part of Vojtěch Horník's life, but he does not see it as an obstacle to achieving his personal or professional dreams. And as he says himself, the disease gave him the opportunity to get involved in activities and meet people he would never have known without it.
Vojtěch Horník belongs to a generation that knows on-demand treatment only from stories. Together with his brother, also a hemophilia patient, he attended events of the patient organisation Hemojunior from an early age - an organisation their parents helped to found. He became so fond of the most significant of these events, the summer hemophilia camp, that he later participated as its head counsellor.

In the fourth episode of the podcast Na vlastní žíly, you will learn from Vojtěch, for example, what it is like to grow up with a sibling with the same diagnosis, at what age contact with other hemophilia patients was most important for him, how people with this blood clotting disorder live in Norway and the Netherlands, or how the mobile application florio HAEMO can be beneficial for people with hemophilia. The show is once again hosted by Michal Bereň.
