Welcome to the New Website

Dear members, supporters, and visitors of the CSH website, we would like to present to you the new look of the Society's pages. The previous ones served their purpose and met the technical and design requirements of their time, but times move on. That is why we decided to give the website a new coat. Hopefully one that is friendlier, clearer, and more useful for you too. The basic structure has remained the same, many sections as well; only in some cases has their list been simplified.

In addition to the basic information on the main page, you will once again find facts about the Czech Hemophilia Society, its history, finances, as well as minutes from CSH Council meetings and other bodies. Advice on treatment is here again, we discuss social issues, and so on. A novelty is that discussions will no longer take place under individual articles but in a separate section. This way, readers' opinions will always be visible and will not disappear into history along with the article. In addition, anyone can of course create a new discussion topic. We believe that more members than before will take advantage of the new format and thus contribute not only to the website but to the life of the Society. To make it easier to respond to posts, and so that individual contributors can also exchange opinions directly, new options have been created that are immediately visible when opening the "Discussion" tab. For this reason, logging in will also be required for discussions and article comments. Not for any censorship or surveillance, but simply so that the system works better. As is the case with the vast majority of similar websites.

We will also have the option to embed videos on the website. Not only those from Council sources, but also from anyone who is interested and sends in interesting footage. An entirely new feature is the ability to search by keywords. This was sorely missing on the previous site, and much interesting information was buried among everything else. You will find the search button in the upper right corner.

For some time, a view of the old pages will also be available, so that truly all information -- and much of it really important -- does not get lost. Just one click will take you there. Not all sections are fully populated yet; they will be filled in gradually.

The CSH Council welcomes every opinion on the appearance, functionality, and needs of the website. From everyone who cares about this fundamental communication tool fulfilling its role as well and as practically as possible. Please send your opinions here.

We wish you to like the website and that it serves the benefit of all of us.
