2nd Women's Meeting in Jihlava

Women and girls with inherited bleeding disorders are very important to our community, which is why we decided last year to organize the 1st meeting where hemophilia and Von Willebrand disease (VWD) were the main topic.

The meeting received very positive feedback from participants. Many women have often experienced either an incorrect, very late, or no diagnosis at all. The quality of life of women and girls living with hemophilia, VWD, and other rare bleeding disorders has been - and still is - seriously affected. This is an unfortunate reality for women and girls not only in our country but around the world.

Our meeting, which will take place on September 30 - October 2, 2022 in Jihlava, is intended not only for hemophilia carriers and women with Von Willebrand disease aged 14 and above, but also for partners of hemophilia patients or women whose families have been affected by the disease and who would like to talk with someone who shares the same experience and learn something new from the attending specialists.

Presentations will be given by leading experts in the fields of hematology, gynecology, psychology, and physiotherapy. A key benefit is the opportunity to meet with specialists outside the formal setting of a doctor's office in a friendly conversation.

You can register now using this form, no later than September 18, 2022. Do not hesitate to register - once capacity is reached, we may be forced to stop accepting registrations! We do not plan for children to attend this meeting!

Participation fees have been set as follows: Czech Hemophilia Society and Hemojunior members will pay CZK 500 per night, non-members CZK 1,000 per night. Czech Hemophilia Society and Hemojunior members who will not be staying overnight at the hotel and will only attend the Saturday professional program will pay CZK 200, non-members CZK 400. Please note that for the purposes of this event, only members who regularly pay their membership fees on time are considered members. The participation fee also includes all-day refreshments. Please send it to the Czech Hemophilia Society account no later than September 29, 2022. If the fee is not paid by the stated date, the reservation will be cancelled.
