Book about Hemophilia
The Society has prepared for its members, non-members, and other interested individuals a Czech translation of the fifth edition of the publication by British professor Peter Jones, "Living with Hemophilia." The book provides a comprehensive look at this disease from all angles and is a useful resource for all patients, their families, as well as schools and healthcare institutions.
Because it was created in a specific environment, it is supplemented and updated by a DVD with a two-and-a-half-hour film shot in the Czech Republic, describing specific situations and solutions that affect people in the country.
The publication with an enclosed DVD, produced at the expense of CSH with the kind support of Baxter, Bayer, Grifols, Novo Nordisk, and Studio Grant, is now available to Czech and Slovak interested parties. It can be collected in person from individual distributors or requested for delivery by post with cash on delivery. The price for CSH members who have paid their membership fees is a symbolic CZK 100, for all others CZK 200 (+ possible postage and packaging).
