Council members discussed

• On September 20, 2017, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, a seminar will be held at the Chamber of Deputies under the title: "Hemophilia patients from the perspective of emergency medical service physicians and emergency departments." It will be organized by the Health Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic under the patronage of committee member Mgr. Jana Pastuchova. Venue: Chamber of Deputies building, Malostranske nam. 7/19, Prague 1 - Mala Strana, room G275, Health Committee meeting room. The event is open to the public.
• 20 copies of the current issue of the Hemophilia Newsletter will be delivered to the seminar.
• The intergenerational meeting of hemophilia patients "Together about Hemophilia" will take place on October 13-14 at Top Hotel Prague; the program is being finalized, and confirmation of speakers' participation is pending. The program will be sent to all registered participants before the event.
• Preparation of the CSH Conference. It will take place on the occasion of the "Together about Hemophilia" event at Prague's Top Hotel on Saturday, October 14, Blazimska 4, 149 00 Prague 4 - Chodov. The start is expected at 4:00 PM.

• According to Art. V of the statutes, the following are elected to the bodies: five Council members and two alternates in order 1-2; three Audit Committee members and 2 alternates in order 1-2.
• The CSH Council approved proposing to the conference that voting for the Council and Audit Committee be conducted by secret ballot.
• Every CSH member has the right to vote and be elected to all positions in CSH bodies. A member who is unable to attend the Conference may grant a written power of attorney to another natural person to represent them with the full scope of rights and obligations of a CSH member; one proxy may represent only one CSH member. The signature of the grantor on the power of attorney must be officially verified.
• The conference invitation will be sent to available member emails /M. Bohun/
• We ask all members who wish to attend the CSH Conference to confirm their interest no later than Friday, October 6, 2017, through the known Society contacts: tel. 777 078 509, email: info@hemofilici.cz. It is sufficient to provide your full name (and optionally your membership number) and contact information (email or phone).
• The next issue of the Hemophilia Newsletter has been printed; members will find it in their mailboxes in the coming days.
• The CSH Council approved 9 new CSH members. The CSH Council will not meet again before the Conference date; any new membership applications will be discussed by the CSH Council after that date.
