April Full of Celebrations
ČSH

World Hemophilia Day celebrations are approaching -- here is more detailed information. On the actual day, Thursday 17 April, a procession raising awareness about hemophilia will pass through part of Prague. It will start from Palackeho namesti at 4:00 PM, where you will find a clearly red and highly visible stand. The procession, led by ambassador Jana Dolezelova, should last approximately 50 minutes, culminating at the fountain on Namesti Kinskych in Smichov.
The fountain will light up red at the same time as the fountain on Moravske namesti in Brno. All participants in the procession can look forward to a musical performance by the girl band 5Angels, which has become the artistic partner of the event. The girls have their own musical behind them, numerous domestic and international performances, and duets with stars such as Karel Gott and Michal David. Refreshments will be provided by the company Cajova Kvetina with their mobile Matcha Tea bar. Visitors will be able to taste both hot and cold drinks made from this organic green Japanese tea, which is packed with minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants. The official end of the program is planned for 6:30 PM.
T-shirts, scarves, and badges in the symbolic red colour with the "I Support Hemophilia Treatment" logo are still on sale through the e-shop www.podporujihemofiliky.cz. If you already have them, do not forget to bring them along on 17 April. The Facebook page Podporuji hemofiliky provides news, behind-the-scenes information, and photos from the campaign.
A week later, on Saturday 26 April, members of the Society and Hemojunior will meet at the Jindrichuv Hradec narrow-gauge railway. At least those who expressed interest through the registration form on our website. We are counting on everyone who did, and we will send them more detailed information to their email address shortly. Since we had to report the final number of participants to the operator, it is no longer possible to register. Thank you for your understanding.
Let us celebrate these days in the greatest possible numbers and commemorate World Hemophilia Day together. We look forward to seeing you.
