Those Who Didn't Show Up May Regret It
ČSH

We are talking about the Friday social evening of the Czech Hemophilia Society and Hemojunior at the Alcron Hotel in Prague. A few dozen participants enjoyed music, good food and drink, pleasant company, and the surprise of a raffle. The Alcron Hotel provided its premises free of charge; it was just a pity that everything had to end by half past eleven, after which peace and quiet was required for the hotel guests. The advance notice mentioned a band led by society member Honza Roušar, and indeed they played, performing a range of genres. Truly for both dancing and listening.
It is not for nothing that the Alcron kitchen boasts a Michelin star — the menu lives up to such an accolade. And when you add the excellent red and white wines from southern Moravia and beer (food and drinks were served as part of the admission), the picture is complete.
The programme was provided by members of both organising organisations from their own resources — in addition to the band, there was also a dance performance by Veronika Zmijová — so we can truly say "haemophilia patients for themselves." There was no talk of illnesses; in this regard, there was a sort of unofficial ban. Only good fun and the pleasure of each other's company were allowed.
Given its success, it can be expected that it will be repeated. And next time, do come as well — you will not be disappointed.
