Who Among the Members or Supporters of the Society Can Help?

During this slowly ending year, our society has found itself in serious difficulty. A long-standing and extremely knowledgeable member of the CSH Council, who is responsible for the financial affairs, has been seriously ill for an extended period and is unable to carry out his work. The governing body of the society is therefore urgently seeking an immediate replacement.

We urgently need to establish cooperation with an experienced economist knowledgeable in accounting and other financial matters. Ideally someone who has already handled the accounting for a non-profit organisation, or who has any accounting knowledge. The society's agenda is not overly extensive, but it must follow rules established by laws and other legal and financial regulations.

If anyone among the readers of this article could help, their involvement will be gratefully received. He who gives quickly gives twice, says an old Czech proverb, and in this case it holds true many times over. The entire life of the society is paralysed, because as everyone knows, good accounts make good friends — and the society wants to have exclusively good friends. Among members, state and other bodies, sponsors — quite simply everyone.
