Minutes and documents from the Czech Hemophilia Society Conference held on 8 November 2025 in Jihlava.
On 8 November 2025, the Czech Hemophilia Society (CSH) held its annual Conference in Jihlava. The conference was attended by 42 members out of a total of 292 CSH members.
Conference Proceedings
The opening speech was delivered by Chairman Martin Bohun, who reviewed the organisation's activities and praised the community's work, event preparation, and cooperation with hemophilia treatment centres. He highlighted the involvement of young members in the society's activities and the impact of the patient organisation on access to modern treatment. He specifically thanked Michal Bereň, Dan Šimek, and Zdeněk Březina.
The Conference approved:
- Activity Report for 2021-2025
- Financial Report (income CZK 2.1 million, expenses CZK 1.9 million)
- Audit Committee Report
- Activity Plan for the coming period
Future Plans
Planned activities include World Hemophilia Day, a social evening, hemophilia camp, and participation in EHC and WFH events. The Society, represented by the new Board, is preparing a bid to host the EHC Congress in 2028.
New Bylaws and Organisational Rules
The Conference approved new bylaws and organisational rules for CSH. The main changes include simplifying the organisation's operations and enabling member participation without requiring physical presence. A detailed overview of the changes can be found in a separate article.
Election of New Board and Auditor
The new CSH Board was elected by secret ballot:
- Martin Bohun – 40 votes
- Martin Zidek – 37 votes
- Daniel Simek – 35 votes
- Katerina Altmanova – 33 votes
- Petr Altman – 29 votes
Michal Skorepa was elected as the new Auditor with 35 votes.
