Summer Haemophilia Camp 2018
ČSH

With the new year comes the already promised further information about the traditional summer camp, along with registration details. Once again, we start right after the end of the school year -- the camp will take place from 30 June to 14 July 2018 at the well-known Zubří Recreation Centre near Nové Město na Moravě. You can look forward to the proven team of counsellors and medical staff from previous years, with Vojtěch Horník as the head counsellor.
As we already announced in the Haemophilia Newsletter, due to a price increase from the accommodation provider, we are forced to increase the camp fee. We will continue to maintain three categories to give the greatest advantage to participants with haemophilia or von Willebrand disease. For this year, the fees will be as follows:
- CZK 3,300 for participants with haemophilia or von Willebrand disease
- CZK 5,300 for their siblings
- CZK 7,560 for other participants
The price includes:
- Transport for children from and to Prague, and if there is interest, also Ostrava, Olomouc, and Brno
- Accommodation, meals (5 times a day + all-day drinking regime)
- Basic accident insurance
- Transport for trips
- Overall camp operations
Registration is only possible electronically by filling in this form. Please fill in all the details in the application carefully. Within 14 days of submitting the form, expect an email confirmation that we have registered the application. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact us at the email address hornik.vojta@gmail.com or by phone at 739 472 735 (Vojtěch Horník).
The deadline for applications is 28 February 2018; however, if you are interested in attending the camp, do not delay with registration. In recent years, the number of camp participants has been growing, so we would like to point out that it is not out of the question that we may be unable to guarantee a place at the camp for late applicants, despite our best efforts.
Children who have completed at least the first year of primary school may attend the camp; the upper age limit is 18 years. As is traditional, we are preparing shared transport from Prague and, if there is sufficient interest, also from Ostrava with possible stops on the outskirts of Olomouc and Brno. Of course, it is also possible to bring your children to the camp venue personally.
Registered participants will receive more detailed information about the camp, transport, payments, etc. during the first half of April.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact the head counsellor at the above contact details.
We look forward to your enthusiastic attendance.
