Summer camp moves to the Lužnice river valley

In the summer of 2020, the Summer Haemophilia Camp will take place towards the end of the holidays, from 15 to 29 August. The event is once again moving to a new location -- this time we have chosen the Lužnice Recreation Centre (https://www.rsluznice.cz/), situated near Tábor in South Bohemia. The facility will offer us comfortable cabins for accommodation, plenty of outdoor space on the riverbank, sufficient amenities, yet surrounded by nature. Vojtěch Horník remains the head counsellor, and the medical and physiotherapy aspects will be ensured by proven staff.

The camp fees remain unchanged since the last camp, staying at three levels:

  • CZK 3,300 for participants with haemophilia or von Willebrand disease
  • CZK 5,300 for their siblings
  • CZK 7,560 for other participants

The fees are set to give the greatest advantage to participants with haemophilia or von Willebrand disease. The camp fee includes:

  • Accommodation, meals (5 times a day + all-day drinking regime)
  • Basic accident insurance
  • Transport for trips
  • Overall camp operations

Registration for the camp is possible via this form. Given the location of the camp venue, we do not expect the need for group transport by large bus from Prague as in previous years. Any group departure from major cities (Prague, Brno, Ostrava) will be organised based on the interest expressed in the application.

We would like to point out that in 2020, the camp capacity will be slightly reduced, so we urge you to register early! We look forward to your enthusiastic attendance in the summer.
