Intergenerational Meeting 2025

ČSH

Intergenerational Meeting 2025

The Czech Haemophilia Society in cooperation with Hemojunior has prepared the 11th edition of our largest annual event, which brings together people with haemophilia and von Willebrand disease across generations.

The Meeting of Generations is a unique opportunity to meet not only each other, but also with doctors and other professionals. Together we share experiences, gain new information and strengthen our community. A clear benefit of the event is the opportunity to talk with doctors and other professionals outside the medical office setting.

Our annual meeting is back – this year's 11th edition!

Every year, our members and their families meet here – it is this diversity that gives the whole event meaning and enables genuine intergenerational sharing.

📅 When: November 7–9, 2025

📍 Where: Traditionally at EA Business Hotel Jihlava

This year too, we are providing a rich program full of interesting information. You can look forward to:

  • joint lectures on current topics,
  • practical workshops in smaller groups
  • and of course space for informal meetings and sharing experiences.

As part of this year's program, you can look forward to these speakers and topics, among others:

  • doc. MUDr. Martin Anders, Ph. D. - secondary physician at the Psychiatric Clinic, 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and General University Hospital in Prague
  • MUDr. Peter Salaj – UHKT Prague - care for people with haemophilia
  • MUDr. Jan Blatný and news in haemophilia treatment – DFN Brno
  • Mgr. Marie Katzerová – physiotherapist VFN Brno
  • MUDr. Petra Vysočanová - assistant – Internal Cardiology Clinic
  • Bc. Lenka Tichá and examination on a podoscope
  • Tomáš Sýkora, DiS. (paramedic); Hana Kunčarová (nurse) - Haemophilia through the eyes of paramedics
  • Presentation of the interactive web application of the World Federation of Hemophilia SDM (Share Decision Making Tool) – shared decision-making about treatment
  • Participation of "young people" at EHC (European Haemophilia Consortium)
  • News and plans of ČSH and Hemojunior

With a question mark (we are waiting for confirmation of participation)

? MUDr. Marek Majerčík – acupuncture, pain treatment

Due to Saturday's electoral conference of ČSH and the packed program of our guests, lectures will be spread over all three days at different time intervals, as was the case last year. Not everyone will stay with us for the entire event. On Saturday morning, a program for older children (schoolchildren aged 6-12, younger by arrangement) will be partially provided. We provide the program so that parents can complete the professional part without being disturbed, without worrying that their offspring will level the hotel with the ground in the meantime. We therefore strongly recommend using it. Unfortunately, we no longer have the capacity to provide childcare for smaller children. It is assumed that older children also participate in the program just like adults.

You can register until Friday, October 24, 2025 using this form.
