Those Who Didn't Show Up May Regret It
24/02/2016We are talking about the Friday social evening of the Czech Hemophilia Society and Hemojunior at the Alcron Hotel in Prague. A few dozen participants enjoyed music, good food and drink, pleasant company, and the surprise of a raffle. The Alcron Hotel provided its premises free of charge; it was just a pity that everything had to end by half past eleven, after which peace and quiet was required for the hotel guests. The advance notice mentioned a band led by society member Honza Roušar, and indeed they played, performing a range of genres. Truly for both dancing and listening.

Poděbrady Is Not Just for the Heart
14/12/2015It also serves others, for example the organisers of the Hemophilia Days. These have already become a tradition, but until now they had always taken place in Prague, apart from one edition held in Vráž u Písku. A change of venue does not mean a change of programme, however, and once again it was bursting with variety. Specialists from many professions gathered, naturally from the healthcare sector. The topics are aimed primarily at specialists from treatment centres, where they learn about the latest developments from around the world over the past period. This time there was no absolutely groundbreaking novelty - the same is true worldwide - but many arguments were deepened and supported by Czech studies and programmes. Nevertheless, foreign guests also attended and shared findings from their countries.
