Invitation to Social Evening 2026

The end of the year is approaching, and with it the traditional preparation of the Social Evening of the Czech Hemophilia Society and Hemojunior. After two years, we are changing the venue and would like to invite you to a new, exceptional space.

Hotel Juliš – A Functionalist Icon of Wenceslas Square

We are pleased to introduce you to the four-star Hotel Juliš, located at the lower end of Prague's Wenceslas Square. The hotel has a rich history – those who remember the past regime may know it as Hotel Tatran. The Juliš Palace building itself, a functionalist icon of Wenceslas Square, was built in 1933 according to the design of the renowned architect Pavel Janák.

The hotel ballroom is very interesting and elegant. During its heyday in the First Republic era, it housed a famous dance café where the Melody Boys dance orchestra of R. A. Dvorský regularly performed.

Valentine's Day Date

Because the new venue calls for something new, we have chosen a special date – February 14, 2026, Valentine's Day. We believe this date will delight you and also eliminate the worries of choosing a place for a romantic dinner or finding gifts. The red colour, a symbol of heart and love, beautifully connects with our red colour of blood.

Start: 5:00 PM (entrance to the hall from 4:30 PM)

Expected end: 11:00 PM

We look forward to meeting friends from both organizations, sponsors, and doctors, enjoying good refreshments, a rich raffle, and some surprises. Teri Štěpánová will play for dancing and listening again with an updated playlist – don't worry, you won't miss the songs you love.

Note: Formal attire is required for entry to the hotel. The event is suitable for children approximately 14–15 years and older.

Registration and Participation Fee

Registration: Complete the registration form by January 14, 2026 at the latest.

Participation fee: 500 CZK / person (for members of both associations)

The hall capacity is 100 people. We will send you your ticket after payment of the participation fee. You can also purchase tickets for 500 CZK for your loved ones who are not members of the organizations.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available at the hotel for 1,700 CZK / night for a double room including breakfast. Interested parties can contact the hotel reception directly.

Transportation

The hotel is located right in the centre of Wenceslas Square, where parking is practically impossible. We will send participants tips on parking options in the area. If you have limited mobility and need to travel by car as close to the hotel as possible, please contact us and we will try to help. You can reach the ballroom from Wenceslas Square directly from the main hotel entrance by elevator.

Raffle
