Travelling Exhibition Hits the Road
ČSH

The panels with photographs of members of the society and Hemojunior, titled "Every Face Has Its Story," have found their first home this year. The large-format portrait photographs by Vladimír Hurt have been on display in Hradec Králové since yesterday. The images were taken last year and have already been exhibited, for example, at the Kotva department store in Prague and on several other occasions. The creation and installation of the exhibition is managed by the company Bayer, from whom the idea originated.
Yesterday's vernissage at the University Hospital in Hradec Králové was attended by all top representatives of the institution, the Bayer company, and the Czech Hemophilia Society. From the very first day, the exhibition attracted the interest of many visitors. Each photograph is accompanied by the story of the person portrayed — without the caption, the impression would be only half complete. The image and text together convey a great deal of interesting information about the lives of both young and older haemophilia patients.
The exhibition, prepared for World Haemophilia Day on Tuesday, can be visited until 30 April 2012 on the third floor of pavilion number 23 at the Hradec Králové hospital. Its next hosts will be the University Hospital in Brno-Bohunice and finally also Motol University Hospital in Prague.
