The end of the year is approaching, and with it the traditional preparation of the Gala Evening of the Czech Hemophilia Society and Hemojunior.
We are pleased that the beautiful Prague Hotel Marriott will once again provide the venue. We greatly appreciate and thank not only the hotel management, but also the staff who will take care of us during the evening. Many of you will remember this pleasant hotel from both this year's gala evening and the European Haemophilia Consortium meeting in 2012. At that time, the Czech Hemophilia Society welcomed around 300 participants from all over the world, and it was a truly successful event. On 11 January 2025, we will gather here again to spend a pleasant evening together and thank those who support our activities and provide care, not only at haemophilia centres. An evening with friends from both organisations and from among sponsors and doctors awaits us, along with good refreshments, a rich tombola, and even surprises.
The programme begins at 5:30 PM, with entry to the hall available from 4:45 PM. Please arrive on time! To ensure the smooth running of the programme, we ask all guests to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start. It is difficult for us to seat new guests after the programme has begun, which can disrupt the overall flow of the event. The expected finish time is 11:00 PM. Teri Štěpánová will once again play for dancing and listening, the evening will be hosted by Czech Radio presenter Luděk Hubáček and representatives of both patient organisations. The programme will also feature a performance by this year's majorette sport world champions. We very much look forward to Ms Nela Šimerová, a haemophilia patient's sister, and her colleague.
Please note that formal attire is required for entry to the hotel! The event is suitable for children aged 14-15 and older. Every child is different, so we leave it to your judgement.
If you are interested in attending, please fill in the registration form at this link by 17 December 2024 at the latest. Due to the hall capacity of 100 persons, we will send your ticket only after payment of the participation fee (for members of both organisations the price is CZK 500/person) to the Czech Hemophilia Society account 2109200873/2700 (please include your full name and "co-payment Marriott event" in the note). This way, all genuinely interested participants should be accommodated. You can also purchase tickets at CZK 500 for your close ones who are not members of the organisations. Please leave friends, acquaintances, and neighbours at home. If you would really like to invite more non-members, this will only be possible by agreement with the organisation leadership and if the capacity is not filled by members and VIP guests. In that case, the ticket price will be CZK 1,500. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
If you would like to contribute an interesting item for the tombola, we would be very grateful. Everyone already knows that the tombola is an integral part of this event. Last year, you could win, for example, stays at luxury hotels, electronics, as well as various gift vouchers. There was also a range of sweets, small and humorous surprises. Ideally, please send the package by arrangement, for example via a parcel service, or deliver it to an agreed location. We greatly appreciate your cooperation on this joint event, but it is beyond our means to travel to collect items from you.
