Annual Award for MUDr. Zdena Vorlova

Nobody doubted her founding and supportive merits. This distinguished lady of advanced age still actively works in haematology, but it was most important to recognise what she accomplished over decades, especially during her time at the Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion. She advanced the Czech school of haemophilia care significantly, and her successors continue to draw on much of what she helped establish.
