Council members discussed

• On 20.9.2017 from 14:30 to 16:00, a seminar will be held in the Chamber of Deputies titled: Hemophilia patients as seen by emergency medical service doctors and emergency departments. It will be organised by the Health Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic under the patronage of committee member Mgr. Jana Pastuchová. Venue: Chamber of Deputies building, Malostranské nám. 7/19, Praha 1 - Malá Strana, room G275, Health Committee meeting room. The event is open to the public.
• 20 copies of the current issue of the hemophilia newsletter will be delivered to the seminar.
• The intergenerational meeting of haemophilia patients "Together about Haemophilia" will take place on 13-14 October at the Top Hotel Prague; the programme is being finalised and confirmation of speakers' attendance is awaited. The programme will be sent to all registered participants before the event.
• Preparation for the CSH Conference. It will take place during the "Together about Haemophilia" event at the Top Hotel in Prague on Saturday 14 October, Blažimská 4, 149 00 Praha 4 – Chodov. The start is expected at 16:00.

• According to Article V of the bylaws, the following are elected to the bodies: five Council members and two alternates in the order of 1–2; three Audit Committee members and 2 alternates in the order of 1–2.
• The CSH Council approved a proposal to the conference that voting for the Council and Audit Committee be conducted by secret ballot.
• Every CSH member has the right to vote and to be elected to all positions in the CSH bodies. A member who is unable to attend the Conference may grant a written power of attorney to another natural person to represent them with the full scope of rights and obligations of a CSH member; one proxy may represent only one CSH member. The signature of the grantor on the power of attorney must be officially verified.
• The invitation to the conference will be sent to available members' email addresses /M. Bohůn/
• We ask all members who wish to attend the CSH Conference to confirm their interest no later than Friday, 6 October 2017, using the known association contacts: tel. 777 078 509, email: info@hemofilici.cz. It is sufficient to provide your full name (or membership number) and contact information (email or phone).
• The next issue of the hemophilia newsletter has been printed; members will find it in their mailboxes in the coming days.
• The CSH Council approved 9 new CSH members. The CSH Council will not meet again before the Conference date; any new membership applications will be discussed by the CSH Council after that date.
