I Envy...

I Envy...

Over the past three years, my deteriorating health has prevented me from participating in the rehabilitation stays organised by the Society for adult haemophilia patients. The last one I attended was in Velké Losiny. About the stays organised in Lednice, I only have information from friends' stories or from articles published on the haemophilia website.

My grandmother was a wise woman and always told me that one should not envy. Perhaps she will forgive me in this case, but I do envy. I "envy" all those who were able to participate in these Lednice rehabilitation stays, because I know how much we always enjoyed that week and what it meant to me. It is not just about a week of extra exercise, when we try to do something for our bodies, but it is a week that we enjoy as a group of people from various corners of our country who are happy to see each other again after a year. Here I would like to thank Michal Skořepa for taking such good care of us every year and for organising and making possible a relaxing week for us.

And so I "envy" those for whom it worked out this year and I look forward to next year when it will work out for me too.
