Summer camp in the Vysočina Highlands
ČSH

The final decision has been made about the venue for the children's summer camp. From the Beskydy mountains and forests, we are heading to the very heart of the Vysočina Highlands. The Ondrášův dvůr Recreation Centre will be replaced by Zubří near Nové Město na Moravě, which we hope will be equally successful for us.
For this year's launch, we have managed to reserve only one week, from 16 to 23 August. The traditional 14 days will return next year, and we have already reserved the dates. We can hint that it will again be in August.
This year, the familiar physicians, physiotherapists, nurse, and team of counsellors will be looking forward to seeing you. We are still finalising the price for the stay and will bring you the information shortly. However, you can already register using this form, by 31 March at the latest. Please make sure to provide all details carefully.
Children with haemophilia and von Willebrand disease, their siblings, and possibly friends may participate. The minimum age requirement is completion of at least the first year of compulsory schooling; the upper age limit is 18 years. Please do not delay with your applications -- places are once again limited and we will give priority to people with haemophilia and participants with von Willebrand disease. We apologise in advance to all those who cannot be accommodated.
A bus will once again be arranged for interested participants from the Prague Motol University Hospital directly to Zubří. This option will also be available for the return journey from the camp.
The choice of a venue to replace Ondrášův dvůr was not easy at all. We visited and contacted several locations. After mutual consultations among those involved in organising the camp, we decided that the Zubří Recreation Centre best meets our requirements and the current situation. References obtained from some other associations that visit this facility also helped us in our decision. We are sorry that we cannot offer more than just one week. However, we believe that this will not significantly affect attendance. Our goal is certainly not to organise camps for just one week. This year is an exception, as the operator was unable to allocate more days for us due to capacity reasons. Since we intend to use the services of this centre in the future as well, even one week is beneficial for us.

We look forward to seeing the campers in Zubří.
