The 2025 Summer Haemophilia Camp will traditionally be in Zubří!

The 2025 Summer Haemophilia Camp will traditionally take place at our tried-and-tested and popular Jasenka Recreation Centre in Zubří in the Vysočina Highlands from 20 July to 1 August 2025. The head counsellor will once again be Bc. Daniel Šimek, and medical supervision will once again be provided by Brno University Hospital under the leadership of doc. MUDr. Jan Blatný, Ph.D. and physiotherapist Mgr. Marie Katzerová.

World Hemophilia Day 2024 - Equitable Access for All

On 17 April, the whole world once again turns red to mark World Hemophilia Day. Every year on this day, awareness of haemophilia, von Willebrand disease, and other bleeding disorders is raised in all countries. **"Equitable access for all: recognising all bleeding disorders", regardless of the type of bleeding disorder, gender, age, or place of residence**, is this year's motto of the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH), on whose initiative World Hemophilia Day was established in 1989. Globally, more than 70% of people suffering from a bleeding disorder still lack access to treatment. That is why not only in less developed countries, but also here in the Czech Republic, it is important that we form a strong community. Only then can we credibly and effectively represent the interests of those who live with haemophilia or von Willebrand disease."

The uncertainty surrounding the location of the 2024 summer hemophilia camp has been resolved, and we are happy to announce to all participants that the next edition will take place at our tried-and-tested and beloved RS Jasenka complex in Zubri in the Vysocina region, from 21 July to 2 August 2024. Daniel Simek will once again be the head counselor, and medical supervision will again be provided by the University Hospital Brno under the leadership of doc. MUDr. Jan Blatny, Ph.D. and physiotherapist Mgr. Marie Katzerova.
